‘PROP/SWAP’
‘Good Morning’ from Kanye West’s 2010 album Graduation is repeating in my head as I craft this final blog post, commemorating the conclusion of our twelve-week General Assembly cohort. It has been a wonderful, insanely informative experience, learning more in three months than any other such 90-day period in my life.
After developing a quick-and-dirty, beta version of PROP/SWAP hosted on Streamlit, I have my work cut out for me looking forward as it comes to further hyper-parameter tuning and model refinement.
Exploring Tableau virtual mapping of international real estate investors also offers unique, visual insights into transaction data that can be applied back towards thoughtful feature selection or rank function engineering.
Completing the capstone project was a major undertaking - as I continued along in the process, different segments of the data offered both illuminating and extremely puzzling insights at times.
Deploying my model parameters via Streamlit allowed me to graphically capture the ‘guts’ of my analytical endeavor, although for the effort invested, only a few lines of app portal script were required. Simplicity can be golden!
